Have a daughter !!!!

Been away for a while ...have a daughter now....a whole new book (not a chapter as they say) got added to life ..

life's crazy ...crazier than we had before but grateful for all the craziness :)
have become 'Parent' with its usual signs and symptoms :)

Remembering the flight to Frankfurt...
travelling alone ... I was really looking forward to the journey... for me flights are like "No man's land" in time... no rules applicable on meandering thoughts!

however suddenly i realized that the person sitting next to me was asking a question...bit half-heartedly yet wanting to be polite , i tried to understand what is being said to me ..

"Have you travelled to Finland?" I was definitely intrigued ..did not see such a question coming ..I have never been to Finland and honestly had never thought of travelling prior to that day...

I said "No" ...his the answer was even more intriguing that the initial question "Who travels to Finland, except me"

My fellow passenger was a software guy with NOKIA- young, very thin and tall ...his legs were barely contained in the seating space...and were fidgeting continuously...anxious almost to find out who all travel to Finland..

I said I am travelling to Frankfurt for a conference for 5 days ...he asked if my visa was for five days ...i said yes..."lucky you, my visa for Finland expires in 12 days , do you think it will get extended" i was bit taken aback and was not sure of the appropriate answer...so just waited for his next thought...

"I am getting married if my visa gets extended, I will miss my wedding"

suddenly the entire context came flooding in....i remembered the narrow time windows we have faced ....and my wishes went out to him.... i hoped that the authorities find some technical error for not extending the visa..

so is the life of today's professionals in India - a life we cannot live without, yet sometime we have no clue about it !!!

I hope wherever he is ...he is happily married :) and someday i can visit FINLAND...a land which made wedding look nearly impossible ...

yesterday as soon as i finished my first post..i started thinking what should come next...absolutely fascinated by this new world of blogging !!! Had some good ideas in mind which got washed away by the droplets of today's morning rain..

everything seemed trivial in front of the drizzle of the morning...rain in general in Bangalore has a unique flavour..it happens at just the right frequency and velocity, so one can feel the delight that only nature can create..

morning the city, like a kid bathed and ready to go to school with half closed eyes ..slowly coming out of the fairy land of dreams...makes you wonder - is this all magic!!

Hi.....so many thoughts kept moving in and out of the conscious sphere of mind that I decided it is better said than not..so the blog....

i am genuinely surprised at my sudden desire to speak the language of alphabets....my friends will tell u, i usually use words in any random order to express a thought, except if it is scientific in nature...which brings me to the fact that I am a scientist by profession...

been thinking - after 34years of living, it still seems to be only a couple of pages of the book. still wondering what is the real agenda behind it... hopefully might understand a bit better by sharing....

new to blogging , wondering how is it done? why do people read it ? is it just venting out by today's humans, who more or less have given up writing to typing? why does everyone suddenly blog? is a creation of new community, almost open source for community building....whatever it may be, it seems like a good place for be oneself and get true unbiased opinions from others..

so have sort of decided the course for this blog ....though might deviate under the legal clause of poetic licence ;)
